My name is Micki (Michal) Weiser, a licensed clinical psychologist.
I was born in South Africa and am a native English speaker. In my practice in Moshav Haniel, I create a safe, compassionate, and professional space that allows for deep and meaningful emotional work.
I work primarily from a psychodynamic approach, incorporating elements of ACT. I offer therapy that can help you understand patterns, process complex emotions, gain perspective on yourself and your relationships, and develop practical tools for everyday life.
As someone who has made Aliyah herself, I understand firsthand the challenges of adapting to a new country and culture, and I bring this perspective to support others navigating similar transitions.
I work with individuals experiencing feelings of being stuck, emotional overload, anxiety, depression, difficulties in relating to themselves or others, high self?criticism, emptiness, or loneliness — as well as those who wish to understand themselves better and move toward a more meaningful and fulfilling life.
My experience includes supporting people through a variety of challenges and life transitions: relationship difficulties or the process of forming new relationships, parenting, students, discharged soldiers, immigrants, people facing stress or instability, and those coping with depression, loss, or anxiety.
I invite you to get in touch and begin a supportive and containing therapeutic process that allows for self?reflection and growth.
