שמי גבי ברקאי, פסיכיאטר ופסיכותרפיסט, עוסק מעל ל- 25 שנה בתחום. אני מאמין שלכולנו חשוב להרגיש במפגש שלנו עם מטפלים.ות, שהבינו אותנו כבני.ות אדם ובה בעת, שיושב.ת איתנו איש.ת מקצוע מנוסה, מעודכן.ת ואחראי.ת וזה מה שאני מנסה לקיים עם מי שאני פוגש בקליניקה שלי.

השכלה אקדמית

רופא (בוגר הפקולטה לרפואה של האוניברסיטה העברית), מומחה בפסיכיאטריה (בי״ח הדסה עין כרם). תואר שני בהצטיינות בנוירוביולוגיה (האוניברסיטה העברית). תוכנית הכשרה ב-CBT בבית החולים הדסה עין כרם. תכניות הכשרה ב-DBT בישראל ובחו״ל.

ניסיון מקצועי

עבדתי במשך כ- 19 שנה בבית החולים איכילוב בתפקידים שונים, כולל ניהול היחידה ל-CBT, והקמה וניהול של יחידת DBT והייתי סגן מנהל מחלקת טיפול יום פסיכיאטרי. בהמשך סייעתי בהקמת תכנית DBT והדרכת צוות בבית החולים שיבא-תל השומר וכיום אני עובד בקליניקה שלי בתל אביב.
יש לי הכשרה וניסיון בטיפול שיחתי (CBT ו-DBT) ותרופתי במגוון מצבים: הפרעות חרדה, OCD, דיכאון, הפרעה ביפולרית, סכיזופרניה, והפרעות אישיות. בקליניקה אני מציע טיפול שיחתי (פסיכותרפיה), ייעוץ ומעקב תרופתי, וכן קבוצת מיומנויות DBT. בנוסף יש לי ניסיון רב בפסיכיאטריה תעסוקתית והערכה פסיכיאטרית לצורך חוות דעת לבית משפט, מסמכים למוסד לביטוח לאומי, קצין התגמולים, חברות ביטוח וקרנות פנסיה וגורמים נוספים.
